Lush Essentials

Aloha Bloggerinos,

This weekend I went to Milton Keynes on a Bridesmaid Dress mission (ever tried finding dresses that suit a dark skinned/dark hair size 6 13 year old and a blonde haired/pale skinned size 12, 25 year old? It's a bugger I tell ya!) and decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone (poor birds) and stock up on the necessities.

I often pop into Lush on lunchbreaks or with friends not only because I like and use the products but because I find it a pleasurable experience to wander around the attractive displays and touch shower jellys, sniff bath ballistic and try moisturiser. I had to admit, that most of the things I buy from there are on impulse and are because I like the smell, luxuries if you will. However, I do have a select few items that I buy over and over and simply luurrrvvvvvveee. *Ahhh Jeez, now I have Love Shack in my head. Grrr*

The first and favourite Lush item is Dream Cream. (Please excuse Lush Website pictures, my camera is downstairs, I'm upstairs, my legs fell off etc etc).
This moisturiser practically makes my skin swoon. I use it on my legs, arms, face, neck, everywhere! It has a unique light scent that is so light that even the Fiance uses it on his face (shhh don't tell his friends) and quenches my dry, thirsty skin all day. It has a medium-thick consistency and soaks in quickly without leaving a greasy residue. A big pot retails for £9.99 ish (don't quote me on it) and last me about 3 months- good value, non?

My second essential is a hair conditioner that is by far superior to the many others that I have sampled.
American Cream is a thick and (quel surprise) creamy conditioner that leaves me hair super soft and smelling divine! I shan't go into reviewing this as I have reviewed it before when I was kindly sent a bottle from the lovely Becky at Lush (I'm still excited by all those freebies). I have since bought 2 more 500g bottles for £12.25. I think this is expensive but I am prepared to splash out a bit for such a good product.

My third and final re-purchase is the Flosty Gritter Bubble Bar, which for me, is a bath time must have.

I love love love the sweet smell of this and they way it makes the bath water hot pink and sparkly- who doesn't want a pink bath?! I only ever use about a quarter of this at a time and find this is more than enough. Of all the bath things I have tried from Lush, and this is an obscene amount, I like this best :)
Each one retails for £3.30, so if you use it like I do, it is less than a pound per bath.

I must say, I find that I don't really have baths in the summer (yeah, yeah, I do shower, I don't stink!) but with Autumn on it's way, lalalala. Can I also, just say, Autumn is my most happy season. Yay Autumn!

I do also have a couple of Christmas Limited edition Lush items that I am chomping at the bit to get my greedy little mitts on, but I shall do a post on those another day, let's not Lush overdose eh?

Do you like any of these products or have any Lush must-haves?

Toodlepip!

Chitty Chitty Chat Chat

Aloha Bloggerinos,

Panic not, I do have a couple of Lush and Body Shop reviews coming up but this is just a quickie post - short and sweet as they say.

I have so many exciting things coming up to share with you! There is of course the Big Pink Sparkly Wedding, my Jolly Holiday (I WILL be doing Pool Wear Curvy Girl OOTD's, I've just been feeling very body conscious recently, for reasons that will become apparent eventually, tehe), something VERY EXCITING happening cosmetic wise (think Limited Edition, think Glittery, thiiinnkkkk designing eyeshadows, loose glittlers, lipsticks, lipglosses etc! Wowzas times a trillion). What eellsee? I'm still crafting away like a busy little beaver and have a few Home Corners posts to come.

(a weheartit randomer so this post ins't naked. Photoless posts? No Spankyou!)

So that's my big fat catch up for you..lovely.

I have received a few uber nice emails from some of you Bloggerinos lately and I wanted to share some. First was from a YouTuberino who watches my videos (must get back on that soon) and reads this and she had guessed my secret news which I'm still not revealing. I thought that being as she wrote such a lovely email and it was private (and even attached a gorgeous word document with a little poem on it) that I would disclose the secret- so to the lovely girlie that I'm referring to- THANK YOU!

Allsssoo, to all of you lovely Bloggerinos that have been buying my sparkly trinkets and giving such fabulous feedback- thank you to you too, I really appreciate it. Gemx bought one of my flower power rings (there are still a few left) and sent such a kind email about where she plans to wear it and such like. She has also done a little blog post about it so check that out and give her a little follow.

If you have done a little review on a 'Lou's Lovely', do let me know so that I can put it in my Chitty Chat posts, I always love to read good things about myself hahahaha!

I am sooooo desperate to tell you my secret but feel like it would be a bit much on top of wedding, Lou's Lovelies, Home Corners, Lou's Reviews, upcoming makeup project, Curvy Girl's OOTD's and the like! Sheesh I'm pooped just typing it!

What are you all looking forward to most and I shall get cracking on that?

Toodlepip!

xx

PS
Aloha to all your lovely new Bloggerinos, have a good nosey :)

PPS
Turns out that wasn't so short after all! Oopsie, hope you managed to read all the way through!

Cocktail Dresses for Sale - Yabba-dabba-dooooo!!

Aloha Bloggerinos,

Are you enjoying the weekend? How did I get to nearly August?! It was April about 5 minutes ago!!

So as posted about on Friday, I am having a weekend of sales and this is where I pull out the big guns- oohhh yeaahh!

I currently have 3 GORGEOUS debut cocktail dresses, never worn out, tried on x2, for sale. I bought them last year with the intention of them being my bridesmaid dresses. Sadly, one Bridesmaid has gained a tiny bit of weight and one hasn't (and I expected her to being on 13 years old), and one Bridesmaid is no longer a Bridesmaid, so rather than pay to get the altered, we decided to just have new ones.

This obviously leaves me with 2 spangly dresses that don't fit me! I am going to put them on eBay but thought I would give all you fashionistas out there the chance to grab them first.

They were bought for £80 12 months ago from Debut in Debenhams. I have a UK size 8, 12 and 16. What I will say is that my friend who wears size 12 clothes finds this 12 too small and the size 16 was bought for a friend who looks a 14 really- basically, I think they are snug sizes! Thought I'd warn you so as I don't want to swizz anyone :)

If the 16 fit me I would defo be keeping it for myself as I think it is VERY versatile and would wear it for looadds of things- woop!

I am selling them for £60 each and this INCLUDES UK postage. If you are elsewhere, I will have to add £5 for postage and will post first class. All dresses have tags on still. No returns.

Here are some snaps of the frock (they are all the same) for you to mooch over. If you would like to buy one, please comment below with your paypal email address and I shall invoice you and post ASAP. I only have 3 available so as usual, it is first come, first serve.

Yep, I took a picture of the inside- I wanted you to have the full experience! haha!

All photos were taken in natural light without flash so that you get the truest colour.

Hope you like them, looking forward to showing you the new ones I have bought! (They are rather similar-hahaha)
