Body Care Products and Body Lotion || The Body Shop

Sponsored Post

It’s always important to take care of your body, both through exercise, eating well and drinking plenty of water, but sometimes you may find that your skin needs a little extra help.

Companies such as The Body Shop use a lot of natural and organic ingredients in their body care products, which is great for your skin!

Now that summer has come around and we’re all cautiously optimistic that the weather will hold out long enough for us to wear our summer wardrobe, there’s no better reason that to invest in some new body care products to make the most of the chance to show off our bodies!

The Body Shop’s body butters are great for hydrating your skin, which can sometimes become dry during the summer months, and they come in a huge array of fabulous smells; pink grapefruit, Moroccan rose, sweet lemon… the list goes on! The summery scent will last all day, a perfect addition to your summer outfit! If your skin is prone to dryness, you could try a Body Butter Duo – the pot contains both a light cream and a richer cream for those areas that need a little more attention. Body scrubs and polishes are also body care products that are wonderful during the summer. It is hugely important to exfoliate your skin to remove any dirt and dead skin cells to leave your skin looking healthy and feeling smooth, and yet again you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing what scent you would like! For some extra summer fruitiness, spritz some delicious smelling Mango Body Mist all over your body for a burst of freshness.

Body Lotions are another great product to use during summer. They’re often extremely lightweight lotions, so they don’t leave your skin feeling greasy which is definitely a plus and again, The Body Shop’s range of body lotions are filled to the brim with summery scents such as strawberry, Madagascan vanilla and sweet lemon. Body lotions are ideal for keeping your skin feeling soft and smooth all day long, and if you apply it straight after showering, you lock in all the moisture your skin needs and you’ll feel lovely and fresh all day long!

With such a huge range of body care products and body lotions available, there’s no excuse for not having soft, silky and beautiful skin all summer long!

Thank you for reading.

  9. Meh, I've tried their body butters because of all the hype and because I have quite dry skin...but they didn't absorb well for me and just sat on my skin and left a greasy feeling. I won't buy again. What does sponsored post mean? Did they pay you to write this? It kind of reads different from your normal posts, like it's one big advert.

  26. The Body Shop always catches my eye (or should I say my nose) when I pass through in the mall, but I haven't had the need to get anything from there since I discovered Lush and L'occitane.
Their products just seem more pampering to me somehow. Can't wait to read your reviews on them though, I may just give them a chance!

  35. Love this!! As someone with what can be extremely dry and sensitive skin i always feel as if body lotions/butters/creams are something that are always neglected when it comes to reviews!

Have to agree though, the body butters in particular are beautifully scented and an absolute pleasure to use! There's nothing in them that makes my skin irritated either :)

    Thanks for the post!! :)

  36. I love the body shop body butters, I have the papaya body butter and I literally want to get a spoon and eat it...could be quite detrimental for my health so I don't do it but I am so tempted. I also love the way my skin feels after I've used a body butter opposed to just a lotion. I love the thickness and the fact that the smell lingers for a good few hours.

Thank you for the post, I enjoyed reading it :)
