Bargains at Boots

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

I thought I would keep you all in the loop and let you know that Boots are running their nifty little voucher deal again.

If you spend £5, you are given a voucher which entitles you to £5 off anything from the No.7 range.

I always make the most of this and try and do my stocking up shopping (tooth pastes, lady products, shampoo, baby stuff, etc) at this time, then when I go to the tills to pay, I pay for it in £5 chunks so I get the most vouchers. Yes, it really annoys the sales assistant, but if it's the difference between 1 voucher and 7, I'll smile sweetly and endure the menacing evils she gives me...yeah lady who's name badge said 'Dawn', I'm talking about you.

I usually use my vouchers to stockpile the face wipes (which have changed packaging but are still the same) as they are taken from £7 to £2 and are brilliant at makeup removal. Seeing as I had so many vouchers this time, I treated myself to a night cream, taken from £10 to £5 and I think I will spend the other 2 on mascaras or maybe another skincare product.

I'm not sure how long this deal is on for so I would suggest you pop to your local Boots asap and take full advantage!

Are you a fan of the No.7 range? What do you enjoy most?

Toodlepip!

xx

  23. I use to work for boots and I loved doing this. I use to suggest it to customers so that they could get tones of vouchers, one called me a cheeky monkey cos every time she bought something from no.7 she still ended up with another voucher. hehe. at one point they used to be free with my discount and voucher. you should check out the nail polishes too. they are £2 after a voucher and they have some gorgeous colours. xx

  30. I've got my voucher ready for next time I go! I used to view the little tickets as an annoyance (I swear I always end up with about 5 pieces of little paper in my bag when I leave Boots) but now I've been eyeing up a few things from their range. Apparently the nail polish is really good, so I might give that a try. My mum is a No7 fan and so I tend to associate it with 'older' people, but hey, she has really great skin so I shouldn't knock it!

Love your blog and would be chuffed if you could write back, y'know, one day :) xx

  52. I got an eye shadow brush today with my voucher its a €7.50 in Ireland so cost me just over €1 for it!! I however do remember the days when you could use the voucher to buy for wipes and that was it cos they used to be €7.50 a few years ago oh how prices just keep going up :( xx

  53. I usually get a nail varnish with mine, I've tried the wipes but they dry my skin out. I've got the Eye and lip shimmer spf stick for summer as well (they all worked out £2 each). Last time I used one though to buy a nail varnish and the woman on the till said something along the lines of "they come in handy these vouchers don't they? But everyone buys the cheapest thing with them, (and laughed saying) they know how to work the system" I thought errrrm, excuse me? You give the bloody things away, what do you expect people to with them? Really annoyed me! Felt like she was saying I was trying to pull a fast one or something. Grrr! lol.

Love your blog Louise. Baby glitter is adorable. Whenever I'm feeling a little stressed or down at work I've got your YouTube channel on my favourites (!) So broody!

  58. I was in yesterday and used my voucher along with the 3 for 2 offer currently on for No7 products! So I got two foundations and a mascara for cheap as chips!! I've never thought of paying for my shopping in smaller chunks - such a good idea!!

  61. Ooo this is good news as I need shampoo and conditioner so can get my voucher. I shall be getting a new mascara from no7 since my no7 mascara needs to be replaced! Fabulous. I love the no7 Intense Volume mascara- don't be conned by the name, it doesn't give me massive volume but I adore it as it looks so natural. It coats all the lashes and makes you eyelashes look fuller but not fake or even like you have mascara on. Perfect for days when you are going for the natural look.

  62. I also took a spiffing trip to Boots today and got me some vouchers! I'll be getting more make-up me thinks! xxxxx

  63. I love it when they do this! I've had some pretty good sales assistants before that have taken all the effort and embarrassment of having to ask to pay in £5 chunks and just done it for me themselves, brill! I really, really recommend the lash adapt mascara, really build able and gives lovely full and long lashes. The moisture drench lipsticks are pretty lovely too and I normally get a nail varnish with my vouchers because they are only £2 with the money off!
