I've never done anything on the radio before so it's quite a unique opportunity to try something new and add another string to my bow, as they say.

I'm not fully sure what exactly I'll do yet so if you have any fun ideas or suggestions, help a girl out and leave them in the comments please haha!

Hi Louise. I just thought I would say that as a reader of yours for approximately 4/5 years (I think I subscribed to you when you had less than 10,000 subbies on You Tube). I've felt as a "sprinklerino" I've been on this journey with you. You truly deserve all the opportunities that are granted to you because as a mother, I completely understand how hard it is to balance work with family life.

ReplyDeleteOmg are you real?... Like legit are you a real human right now?! This is INSANE news! Firstly, congratuLATIONS dahhhling!! I'm sure you're VERY excited and also somewhat nervous but omg just don't even worry about it because you are going to be GREAT!
ReplyDeleteAs regards radio show concepts, I think there should be topics similar to that discussed on 'Chummy Chatter' because they're always things you're passionate about, have a lot of feelings and thoughts towards, and ALWAYS end up being hilarrrrrrrious when talking about them! So anything that YOU enjoy talking about, don't be forcing any unnatural conversation about dweeby 'real world' things! I've just had a look at the lineup of people and although the other 'tubers are dahhhhhhlings like yourself, none of them are quite fit for this hilar role as you are! You're so naturally funny and I'm confident that will come across via radio PERFECTLY! (without the video accompaniment)
BASICALLY congrats and good luck dahhhl, shall be tuning in like the rest of the world! <3 x

ReplyDeleteHow about you take with you a few items that mean a lot to you - it could be some of your favourites (make-up/clothes etc.) or just random little things that you can talk about. That way the listeners can get to know you better and you could take the show in whichever direction you want it to go :) xx

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to you being on the radio show, so far with Tomska and Jack & Dean the youtuber take over has been great so no pressure! Dan and Phil are such fantastically generous people to have pitched this idea to R1.
ReplyDeleteSince each you tuber gets a reasonably free reign as to what they do, take what makes your content uniquely "sprinkle of glitter". The stories that entertain is what an audience will appreciate, maybe a story that goes with particular song, so you can link into your music choices as well.
