Luxury Nail Polish

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

Today isn't going to be a review per-say, more of a preview. I shall soon be filming a video for my YouTube Channel about luxury nail polishes and discussing (with my silent camera lens) whether they are worth the pennies. However, whilst on a bit of a snapping spree a while back, I took some lovely pictures which show the colours so well that it would have been a shame not to share.

I will be including various brands in the video, including Essie, Butter London, OPI, Deborah Lippmann and Illamasqua. For now, let's all revel in the gorgeousness of Essie* and Butter London* and be strange makeup addicts together (y'anno, the kind who like to drool over little glass bottles filled with coloured liquid).

Yes, the smudge on Bluey's lid annoys me too.

Mmmmmm, are you mesmorised in a nail-polish-eye-candy-hypnosis? I know I am.

This absolutely isn't a review but initial thoughts- I've been converted. Essie nail polishes are the bees knees and I luurve them. They remain chip free for a good 3-4 days, the colours are beautiful, the formula easy to apply and the range available is huge! These polishes were from Beauty Bay but you can also pick them up in Boots, Liberty's of London and if you are lucky enough to live in America- everywhere! No, I don't know if they are everywhere but I do know my chum Marie buys hers from Target. Also, they are a lot more affordable stateside- you lucky duckies.

Are you looking forward to this sort of video or do you prefer vlogs and hauls?

Toodlepip!

xx

  5. My friends think I'm mental for finding glass bottles of liquid so pretty (they're obviously the crazy ones though!) I'm all for a bargainous polish but my favourites always tend to be the higher end ones. I love Essie Mint Candy Apple and Big Spender. These three Butter London ones look absolutely stunning!

  8. I am so am looking forward to your nail polish video..never had a Butter London one, but I have a few Essie which I lurve....I used to think Chanel polishes weren't worth the money, but I don't know why, because I have several now..and I think they are fab. I also own Barry M, China Glaze, in fact you name it, my fridge is full of it!!
;-)What top coat do you recommend? My favourite is Seche Vite...I can't manage without it.

  11. WHOOP WHOOP!!
I'm so excited to see that video :)

I'm totally into nail polishes like Essie. Lately I'm flirting with Butter London and OPI but these brands are far too exspensive here (in GER). So I don't dare to buy those in case I would regret buying it...
But I hope your review will convince me of their quality (in colour and formula) or I finally can get rid of this desire to have them :D

  22. Essie nail polishes are fabulous! I splashed out on their Winter Collection in January and tried each colour out over a period of weeks. I find the formulation to be absolutely gorgeous and you get such a professional and polished look by using high end polishes. I still like buying my cheapy Tesco's own nail varnishes but its nice to treat yourself to something that's a little more expensive every so often. Hopefully I'll try the Butter London polishes soon!

  23. I was given my first Essie polish for Christmas and am now totally hooked! I agree with you about the formula being fantastic and it staying chip-free for a few days. All plusses in my life, with a one year old! If you are in Canada, the cheapest I've found Essie is at WalMart for $7.99. Yes please!
Can't wait for your review video as I've been leaning towards splurging on some Butter Londons to try:)
