Aloha Sprinklerinos,
I'm an exciting kinda gal. I like to live on the edge. I do fun and thrilling things.
Sometimes though, I just want to talk about soap. Today is one of those days.
Hand soap in our bathroom is never something I over think or bother about too much. Usually I just pick up whatever is on offer in the supermarket and be done with it.
Recently, I picked up this handwash- The Original Source Mint and Tee Tree Anti-Bacterial Handwash, for £1.15, and it's love.
This liquid soap feels all kinds of good on your hands. It's minty freshness leaves you squeaky clean and it smells huh-mazing. Seriously, guests have commented on this soap. Matt said, (brace yourselves now), "I like it". High praise indeed.
I love the funky packaging, the pretty colour (you know my love for pastel greens), the smell (that's my favourite bit) and the fact that it serves it's purpose and washes your germies away.
I know, hand soap isn't exactly thrilling stuff, makeup and skincare is far more interesting, but I truly love this stuff enough to consider it review worthy. I would encourage you to give it a little wiff next time you're in the hygiene aisle and try to resist it!
Am I over excited for soap? Do you stay loyal to one brand or do you choose things that are on offer?
Toodlepip!
xx

ReplyDeleteI have a blog and it would be awesome if you could check it out!
www.bloggerofbeauty96.blogspot.com
I LOVE Original Source! I use their shampoo and conditioner a lot because, well, it's in the store for a start, with a reasonable price tag, and (my favourite bit) they're really natural products, so I feel like it's a nice treat for my hair, rather than using something that's full of chemicals and any other science-y things that I probably can't even pronounce. And you know it's good'un if Matt says he likes it ;) Might just buy it with the excuse of 'I'm thinking of using this exact shade of green to accessorise my room with when I do it up'- Good plan, no?
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog because your personality just comes through so well and it just feels so happy and comforting, and you really seem to love what you do and your readers honestly, no just pretending to get more followers or being completely up yourself. Never stop being you, Louise! x
http://www.narsobsessor.blogspot.com
They also do a shower gel in the same flavour! I love it, especially after a hot day (it's summer here in Sydney)the cool minty freshness is so lovely and you feel so refreshed afterwards. :)
ReplyDeleteLove Joyce
I've got the original source lime shower gel. It's amazing! It's so nice and zingy and really wakes you up in the morning when you have a shower. They also have a lemon one that I want to have a go with.
ReplyDeleteThis probably makes me very sad, but it's always nice to have a good hand soap. I like to try different brands and I'm always badgering my Mum to buy different ones when they're on offer. I really enjoy original source shower gels but have found the shampoo to be not so good just because they don't do my hair justice but I really think they're a good brand. Before your post I was completely unaware of them producing hand soaps, so thank you for the review because this will be my next soapy purchase. It's always a plus side finding a good soap that leaves your hands feeling fresh and smelling amazing.
