Aloha Sprinklerinos,
Last week I wrote THIS about a recent work day I had in London attending blogger events. When I first started blogging, many moons ago, one of my favourite things to see on blogs were the goodie bags people were sent home with (I'm nosey like that) so I thought I would harp back to those days and show you mine.
Please note that this isn't bragging or showing off, I just figured that if one person (me) likes these sorts of posts, then other people (you), might like them too. It's not a review, just a 'ooohh look, purddyyy' dealio. Plus, I like looking at eye candy pictures of makeup.
For me, the highlight of this collection is the blue 1 second nail polish. I'm not sure it did dry in one second but it was chip free for a good 4 days, beautiful to apply thanks to the flat ended brush and generated a heap of compliments- what more do you want in a polish?
I'm excited by the cream blushes, apprehensive of the powder ones (never had much luck with the colour pay off) and intrigued by the bronzing products. I love a bit o' bronze in the summer months. Who am I kidding? I love a bit o' bronze in all the months!
If any of these products really impress or really disappoint, I'll be sure to write a review and let you know.
What experiences have you had with Bourjois products? Do you have any recommendations?
Toodlepip!
xx

I'd like to know how that bronzer compares to the bar of chocolate ones, please :)
ReplyDeleteAlso I quite like blushes without too much colour payoff - it makes it quite difficult to mess up! (One reason why the elf studio blushes are my favourite!)
The packaging is soo cute. Did you get these for free if so your a lucky girl but totally deserve it haha. Love your makeup blog posts always really pretty and vibrant pictures and good honest thoughts :)

Haha, but I must say I haven't tried too many Bourjois products, I've tried swatching their powder blushes before in store but like you say, they didn't seem to have much colour payoff. I'm interested to see how the rest of the products go for you though! I may go and check out their nail polishes now :)

1 second nail polish?! Hmmm I'm a bit skeptical but I need to definitely try it out. I'm a sucker for any fast drying nail polish because I suck so bad when it comes to painting my nails. I always end up passing out during the second coat and mess it up :( Do they only have 3 colors out?

I've never tried Bourjois. I live in Canada, so while I can find it at some drugstores, it's rather expensive! And I've just never been intrigued enough to take the leap of faith and shell out the money.

I love seeing makeup and clothing and random bits that people got no matter where they got it! It's just exciting to see new things, especially makeup and nail polish! I wonder if there is anyway to get the nail polish in the states. It looks so purddy as you put it! That's really weird that you have had problems with powder blushers having good color pay off, I've had the the exact opposite problem! lol Maybe we both are trying all the wrong ones! My favorite blushes which also have amazing color pay off is Tarte amazonian clay, Ulta brand, and Covergirl. I love reading your blog and watching your videos! They always put a smile on my face!
