Aloha Sprinklerinos,
As you know, I've been a little bit absent on here of late as I have been jetting off to America and spending a lot of my time editing and uploading the videos of my adventure. I was going to leave it a week but when Activia got in touch to tell me about their new campaign, I felt it was such a good fit that I should share it ahead of time. Eager beaver.
As I have spoken about bazillions of times before, feeling good starts from within and when you feel lovely, you can make the very most of your time and just be present in the moment, enjoying it. This past year I have been working so hard on just enjoying each little moment and really feel that it's made a positive impact on my happiness levels. Yay yay.
Dancing is the perfect expression of feeling good from within, as the video above shows (or any of my vlogs where I'm dancing about like a loon!). I have loved learning about the Feel Good Experiments as they encourage women to feel lovely on the inside and show it on the outside- the perfect balance of happiness, which is what I'm all about.
If you're looking for a quick pick-me-up, have a looksie at the video and try not to smile. It gives you warm fuzzies and happies.
What do you do to feel good?
Toodlepip!
xx

I am always dancing around my house - not that I am any good at it haha. I love your positive attitude on life Louise, you're a very inspirational woman!
ReplyDeleteI actually just wrote a blog post for Zoe's birthday and mentioned you and Zoe as the reasons for starting a blog! If you'd like to read it and share it with Zoe, please feel free.
Big love to you xxx

Your birthday post is so lovely :) Zoe and Louise are also for the reason for me starting my blog (http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11683611) and my sister starting hers too (http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11781707) :D
DeleteYour post is so sweet. Zoe and Lousie are one of my main reasons for starting a blog recently too. They're so inspirational. xo
DeleteIt would be amazing for you to have a read of mine, only if you want too of course. <3

Ohh! that's so lovely Louise! So happy that you're feeling well <3 I think I'm going to try the 'enjoy every moment' thing from now on, it's difficult for me, but I'll do my best! love xx
ReplyDeleteI love this and the message behind it! I was smiling all the way through this video and definitely would've joined in myself! x
ReplyDeleteThey all look so happy! I love dancing! :) Great post! :)

What makes me feel good is dancing to my favorite songs or just singing them! Also, watching your videos always puts a smile on my face!
ReplyDeleteHello Louise!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that I just discovered your blog/youtube a couple of weeks ago and have spent some time catching up. You seem like such a genuinely nice and happy person and I just wanted to let you know that you now have another viewer/reader from Switzerland! (in a previous post you'd asked about the weather where your readers are, and I can tell you it's lovely and sunny here at the moment!) :) And the question about what makes me feel good: sunshine, reading and spending time with friends! Anyway, hope you have a lovely weekend!! xx Holly (PS: I didn't want to post "anonymously" but I don't have any of those other thingies that I could have signed up with?!)
I like listening to music from my favourite bands, the songs fit perfectly to my mood.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I listen to Podcasts such as Nightvale, Full Frontal, or Shane Dawsons.
When I feel sad it is so easy for me to go on a downward spiral into panic attacks, so being alone and allowing myself to think is a no go.
I love this post by the way, I think I may have to add reading you blog to my happy list!
This was lovely! I thought the music they would dance to would be a song called "Dancing in the Street" by Martha and the Vandellas (it's an old song, from the 1960s) because that would have been too perfect! <3
ReplyDeletethey all look so happy in the video that has cheered me up from not being very well. I like to have a full on pamper evening!
ReplyDeleteIf I'm having a bad day I always go for a run (even when I'm having a good day I go for a run) it just helps me clear my head a lot, and keeps me fit at the same time.

I watch youtube videos and bake sweet things...I wish I had some other methods haha
ReplyDeleteif i'm stressed i exercise and get my endorphins going, or i do some photography work ! playing with the baby girl i look after is also a win too :)

Every morning whilst washing my face or brushing my hair I do a proper smile to get me into a positive mood. I sometimes think what about me I like if I am feeling self conscious or say what I am looking forward to that day. It puts me in a motivated and positive mind set and gets the day off right. I have been a huge amount happier since doing this!
ReplyDeleteI adore your blog and Youtube, have read and watched for years and will do so for a long time,

Oh my goodness, I LOVE THIS!! Louise, I'm known among my friends for my "sweet" dance moves and I love dancing in public just for the smile and the laughs. I wish more people would do this with as much enthusiasm as the gentleman does! Most of the time I'm reduced to having mini dance parties in my room with my girlfriends and dancing in the car for my feel-good times. Much love, Liv

Nothing beats seeing someone trying to make someone else smile. It's sad that a lot of people spend so many days being upset or letting something silly make them worry (I am a major culprit of this). I always love your little pick me up blog posts, always does the trick of making me feel better about things, and helping me realise that I'm just being silly. Enjoy every day, you don't want to spend your life regretting that you spent too much time being sad or worrying.
ReplyDeleteMy pick me up is either reading a good book (usually Harry Potter, total fan girl) or watching disney films (and singing/dancing along), which is weird because I always cry at disney films like when Mufasa dies in Lion King, or when Belle tells Beast that she loves him as he's dying, or the WORST one, is An American Tale with the little Jewish mice family. It's the cutest film ever but nobody seems to have ever seen it. But he basically gets separated from his family and at the end they find each other and I can't cope at all. I don't even have to watch the whole film to make me cry, just that scene and I bawl my eyes out like a little baby.
I think it's so nice that you use your blog to inspire so many people, you really are such a nice person!
xox
cool video :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is good to dance to my favorite songs or just sing! In addition, you can always watch your videos a smile on my face! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love this so much! Your positive outlook on life is so great, Louise, I luvz ya! Kisses x

I can completely imagine you dancing around your kitchen on a Monday morning to fight the dreaded "Monday Moans" Louise! :) I'm going to try to start the jar challenge, where every time you have a great day you write about it or if you get a compliment you write it down - I can look at it then when I'm feeling down and hopefully feel better afterwards :)
ReplyDeletehttp://bitsandbows4.blogspot.ie/
I can totally imagine you dancing around your room with Darcy to cheer yourself up Louise! I want to try to start the jar challenge, where you write down nice compliments, things you like about yourself and great memories. When you feel down you take out the jar and read some things to cheer yourself up! :)
