Simple Sewing

Aloha Bloggerinos,

Can I pick your brains? I have been machine sewing now for some time but am self taught and frankly, a bit rubbish at it.

Do any of you lovely Bloggerinos know any free and simple sewing patterns I could use (that I could print off the web) that you think would be good? I want to make bags, bibs, pencil cases, makeup backs and that kind of caper.

    Check out my recent 2 tutorials on making little zipper pouches. =) Easy peasy.

    IVe been making clothing for myself and others by simply making my own patterns. Just trace the clothing on the paper or fabric and cut them a few cms wider for the seams. And you can make variations on the basic form. I think you can do the same for bags and other things :)

    Try Martha stewarts website and also I would recommend Sew! by Cath Kidston it comes with LOTS of great sewing pattern

    Sorry I don't know of any patterns off hand!!! But alls I wanted to say is I want to live in this room!!! LOL I love all things Shabby Chic!! Good luck sewing!!! I love to sew but I'm not very good at it :(
