Aloha Sprinklerinos,
Woohoooo it's Saturday! If you're over the legal age to drink and you enjoy a tipple, here is a new recipe for you to try out. So far I'm really enjoying this new series! Tasty!
This cocktail is sweet and rich. I think it's the kind of cocktail I would serve with nibbles like brushettas and cheese. I don't know why. I didn't have nibbles when I drank it haha! It's fruity but not light and zingy like last week.
Cocktail Recipe
per glass
1 part malibu
1 part cherry grenadine
3 parts fresh cherry juice
4 parts lemonade
Garnish with -
Crushed ice
Cherry
Green mermaid (clearly essential)
Serve with a smile and enjoy!
Toodlepip!
xx

Hahaha well just have them on the odd occasion :) xxx
Deletejust made this... gross
ReplyDeleteWhy have so many cherry flavoured juices in your home if you don't like cherry drinks? Haha you silly thing! x
DeleteCome on, confess....I bet you missed off the mermaid, didn't you? That clearly would've made all the difference.
DeleteI like cherry but this concussion was vile.... i don't know if it was the grenadine but i was feeling queezy after this...
DeleteNot queasy enough to stop you browsing the internet and typing though. I'm sure you'll survive another day to moan at someone.
DeleteI'm bookmarking all of these so when I turn 18 at the end of July I can try them! Very excited!

Yay! Don't go mad though, if you're new to drinking I'd suggest going slow :) xxx
DeleteWell there's a bit of bad luck. You just happened to have those ingredients to hand and rustled yourself up a cocktail before you could even say "...ahem....MANNERS!"....but sadly it wasn't to your taste. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteMy comment directly above was in reference to the first Anonymous poster btw....not the lovely Louise. Not sure I made myself clear at all!
DeleteI don't drink but this looks delicious and is that a gummy mermaid?

I made this without alcohol because I don't drink so it was basically cherry juice and lemonade haha! But it was still delicious and refreshing :) especially on a day like today.

Aw cherry and coconut in one drink! Sounds sublime! If you want to make it zingy, maybe adding cherry sourz could work?! ;) Scottish Wendy | Wendy's World xx
