Lou's Reviews- Tans and Talons Nail Polish

Aloha Bloggerinos,

Happy Easter! Did you all have a good one? I went to Liverpool and had THE BEST TIME EVER. I had a good old Primani shop and will be doing some Primark Makeup Reviews soon. I must say, so far, so good :)

Recently though, I was kindly sent some goodies from Tans and Talons, click HERE to have a look at this Nail Heaven! I was sent a beautiful nail polish, some funky nail art stickers (yet to use and review), a kissy mouths (see picture- im rubbish describing! ha) nail file, some amazing little silver hearts for nail art and a dotting tool, which frankly, I do not know how I lived without! haha!

So, onto the polish. I LOVE IT. If I didn't like it, I would say. I don't feel obliged to give something I like a good review, but I really, really like this nail varnish. It's a lovely vibrant pink that is perfect for spring and summer. I have been super keen on pastels of late but when I tried this, I instantly like it. So much so, that after I removed it, I re-applied it! This is a great review in itself because I am a serial swapper for nail colours, so this is a real testament!

Without flash

The nail varnish retails at about £6.80 (I think) from Tans and Talons and is from the Bio Scullpture range, which is the range all the Tans and Talons goodies are from I believe. On the bottom of the bottle, it says '2016 International', so I pressume this is the product code and colour. Splendid.

The polish glides on very easily and doesn't chip for AGES. I would even liken it to Avon, which is my go-to polish for non chipping. I applied this on Wednesday night, two coats and a coat of clear for extra sheen, and now it is Monday night and there is only a very slight chipping. I think this is pretty good considering I have had an action packed weekend.

This polish will definately be in my top favs and I look forward to being paid and trying out some new colours.

Have any of you tried any of the Tans and Talons range or think you might like to?

Apologies for any spelling errors etc, I'm pooped! xx

Issobelle's NOTD

Aloha Bloggerinos!

I have a few NOTD posts coming up soon because I was sent some GORGEOUS goodies from Tans and Talons - click HERE to visit this treasure trove of nail goodies, but when I was having a little sort out on Saturday, Issobelle popped round (not by herself, being only 4 years old, hahahaha) and was VERY excited by all the nail varnishes and eyeshadows and makeuppy goodness. So, with her Mummy's blessing, we went to town and she choose five colours for Aunty 'Ooweeze' to paint on.

Yes, I know I haven't done the neatest of jobs, but alas, little girls don't hold very still for very long! After we had painted them, she spotted a tube of glitter that was part of my Tans and Talons loot and instantly wanted some. It looks so cute in the little vial that I couldn't bare to open it so I sprinkled on a little of my MAC Glitter Pigment on the wet paint and we then had one very happy Issobelle!

In a bid to play longer with my nail goodies, she kindly modelled a few bits. I'll do full reviews later and I have mentioned them in my youtuberrino channel :)

Nail Art Glitter:

Nail Art Rest (very handy I tell ya!):

The nail art rest and glitter are only a couple of pounds each or so and are brilliant! The nail art rest is perfect for someone like me who is a nail art novice, it really does help :)

Hope you enjoyed my (well sort of "my") first ever NOTD. Many more to follow!

Toodlepip! xx

Little disclaimer- For those of you that don't agree with cosmetics on children, her Mummy removed this the next day and I don't put false lashes and tan on her so I hope you aren't too up in arms! :)

From Lush with Love

Yesterday morning I was planning on having a disgustingly long lay in and languishing in my freshly on sheets. Is there anything better than clean sheets? However, at 7.30am there was a knock at the door. Who on earth comes round at 7.30am on a Saturday?? Postman Pat!! I shlepped back to bed with a very heavy box and wide awake with excitement. I opened it up and it was a GIANT BOX OF LUSH GOODIES, BAAABBYY!!

The extra fantabulous Becky from Liverpool had seen my blog and youtube reviews and as she works at Lush, she very kindly picked me a selection of items that she says she feels are sometimes overlooked and are very special. This is by far the best thing that has ever come through the post! I counted and there are 19 items in there and I shall be reviewing at least 18 of them- one is a top secret Lush item- oh la la!

I think I shall review all items on my youtube channel but I shall review a select few on my bloggypops :)
I can't thank Becky enough for this very generous Lushy gift. She is a cosmetics and beauty wizz- she even has her own eBay shop called Tans and Talons. I have had a good mooch around it and it is AMAZING! She sells all BioSculpture and Fake Bake items and I have got my beady little eye on the nail art brushes (they look luurrrvvly) and the nail art glitter is now on my wishlist. The prices all look really reasonable and I think come payday, I shall have a little shop. For all you bronzed goddesses and gorgeous nailed gals, here is a link to he fabbydabby shop- http://members.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=what_a_bling
