January Wish List || Nails

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

With the festive season safely tucked up in bed and a big family holiday to save up for this year, I'm trying very hard to curb my spending. It's boring I tell you!

In a bid to quench my beauty thirst, I have created this visual wish list of nail products I'd love to own.

All the products in the collage can be found on BeautyBay, accept from the Dotting Tools from eBay, which I accidentally just placed a bid on. In fairness, they were only £1.38!

I flip flop between pastels and neons like nobodies business. For months I'll be obsessed with mints, pinks, peaches and greys and then all of a sudden, out of the blue, I'm enchanted with anything luminous. My nails are terribly fickle.

What nail colours and products are you utterly obsessed with at the moment? Do you ever go bare?

Toodlepip!

xx

This month my Ultimate Advertiser is DotComGiftShop . If you would like to find out more about advertising on this blog, click HERE.

  11. Hi Louise! I'm exactly the same! I can't decide whether it's too early to start wearing pastel colours on my nails! I always associate them with spring! You're a huge inspiration to me! Seriously you were the person that made me really want to start my own blog! In the video you did with Zoe about blogging tips when you said you had only 69 followers on your 6 month anniversary of sprinkleofglitter, that's what spurred me on to start my own because it showed to me it is possible to get somewhere and reach people with a blog because look at you now! I love blogging so much and i would really appreciate it if you could take a look at mine for me, it's not that polished or anything right now but i've been working hard to make it the best it can be. I know you probably get hundreds of these requests a day but you and Zoe from Zoella inspire me so much! Thank you and good luck saving!

  31. Every time someone talks about dotting tools I feel an urge to get them! I'm also the type who alternates between pastel and neon colours frequently, and right now I'm loving neons. Sometimes I go bare when I want to let my nails breathe for a bit, or when I'm too lazy to paint them.

PS. I've been following you for a while now, almost a year, but have never commented. I'm going to start commenting more often so you know how much I enjoy your posts!

  36. I haven't had naked nails in almost 2 years...it feels weird and well, naked, when my nails are naked. It doesn't feel right.

I recently tried glitter nail polish and whoa, it's a NIGHTMARE to remove! But the sparkly-ness makes up for it :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. I find myself going through phases where I paint my nails no matter how busy I may be and others where I just can't find the patience for nail painting and just prefer to go bare. I think it's because a few summers ago, I CONSTANTLY had polish on and it ruined my nails. The top layer of my nail would chip off and it was just a mess! And I realized that it's always around the same times of the year that I wear polish/don't as the year of the horrid nails. But, hands down, Essie is my absolute favorite when it comes to polish! My mom swears by OPI, but I haven't used it enough to compare it to Essie.

By the way, I'm new to your blog (not to you though, I've been following your youtube goings on for months now) and it is absolutely ADORABLE! I love the design, simply gorgeous. :)

    Cheers!

I am currently wearing 'No Boundaries' paired with a single nail (the one next to the pinky finger) which is painted in a pastel colour 'Neo Whimsical'. And i also love to wear bright glittery nail polish especially this purple one i have (called 'be-jeweled') which i paint on top of the Essie 'Neo Whimsical' colour, i call this combination of mine Princess Nails because it looks really pretty and girly and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I love nail polish, it is one of my most favourite things :D

  104. Recently I've been wearing a lot of glittery/sparkly nail varnishes but that's probably just due to the festive season. I'm sure I'll be back to pastels/ice cream colours in no time. Unfortunately for school I'm not allowed to wear nail varnishes so I just wear a clear coat but as soon as I get home on a Friday the nail varnish is back on until late Sunday haha. My favourite brand at the moment are Barry M nail varnishes because they don't chip much but my Dad bought me a box set of Fearne Cotton's nail varnishes from her boots range and they are such a lovely array of colours and they are all really easy to apply so I reccommend trying them.

I hope you're feeling better and resting up after your health trouble over the holidays - I'm just glad to see you continue to bring lots of positivity and glitter into the everday (perfect lighting be damned lol)!

As for the nailpolish discussion at hand, my nails have total ADD as well! In fact I think the most difficult decision I make all week is what colour to paint my nails. I don't usually do neon, but I flip flop between pastels and dark (like essie' wicked or licorice).

  115. Models own is my go to brand - the colours are so affordable and there is such a wide range. I am a medical student, so polish on my fingers is a no-no during the week (sad face), however, I am enjoying fluro orange by Models own on my tootsies at the moment. It makes me happy when my naked fingernails make me sad.

  116. Hey Louise,

Thought you might like to know that the OPI Outrageous Neons Mini Collection is currently a co-buy on buyapowa and so you might like to check it out. It's best price could be £8.50 which is a lot better than it's retail price. Just a heads up!
