This is a temporary blog post but an important one none the less.

You may have noticed your new ads were supposed to be up tonight and they are not. Bad Louise.

I spent the day at Alton Towers with Matt and our newlywed chums Mark and Clare (keep your eyes peeled for a vlog) as part of our wedding present to them.

We left at 5.30, planning to get back for 6.30-7.00 so I could upload your lovely ads and we could get Baby Glitter to bed with a story and some snuggles. Alas, the motorway was having NONE of it- we sat in the car for 3 solid hours crawling along the motorway. Oof! I was getting stressed knowing we had to pick Baby Glitter up from my Stepmum, get your ads up and take off wet clothes (damn you rapid ride!!).

It's poopy I know, but it really was out of my control.

Here's the new plan :

Since it's now gone 10pm and I have been up since 6am, I will put your ads up tomorrow and we will run them from the 2nd of July to the 2nd of August. This way, you still get 100% what you have paid for and it starts on a Monday so that's nice!

This post will be removed tomorrow night because I'm not sure it's exactly thrilling reading but I knew it would be a good way to reach all of you and not miss anyone off the list. Ahhh, the modern world eh!

I hope you've all had good weekends like mine, minus the nightmare traffic jam!

Affordable Fairy Lights

If you have ever watched any of my older videos, when I was recording in my boudoir, you will know that I am a HUGE fan of fairy lights. We have them in our room, Baby Glitter's room, the hallway and the lounge all year round. Come Christmas time and the house is lit up better than ... well, a very well lit thing!

Whilst I was mooching round pinterest I found some gorgeous floral fairy lights but the shop that sold them was out of stock- booo.

Never one to give up, I turned to my faithful friend, ebay. I found these gooorrgeous rose fairy lights for £6.99. They are 3 metres long so you'll get a good length (minds out of gutters please) and they come in 6 glowy colours. I can't tell you how much these kind of things excite me.

When Baby Glitter grows out of her cot (thinking ahead a bit I know) I'm planning on making that little corner of the room a reading nook with cushions, blankets and twinkle lights. For now though, I have bought some to drape round her book shelves.

To me, there is something really magical about fairy lights. They can add the finishing touch to any room

LOTD || Etsy #1

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

It's no secret on this blog that I am a whopping great big fan on Etsy. For those that don't know, it is like a gigantic ebay but only for handmade or vintage items and it is quite simply, BEAUTIFUL. I saved the best LOTD til last. The idea is very simple- find a beautiful item for sale on etsy, and tell us so we can be equally impressed!

Today I have choosen this mermaid costume for babies to share. As you may have noticed from Monday, I have been obsessing over all this under the sea of late and this really tickles my pickle. The seller ony lists costumes up to 9months but I'm very tempted to ask if she would make one a little bigger for Baby Glitter, just so I can take cool photographs of her! Hahaha.
