Summer Listings

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

I'm writing this at 8.51am and already today is a scorcher. I had to drag the garden waste wheelie bin round the back of my house and out onto the road (the glamorous life I lead) and by the time I'd done the 4 minute job I was over heated! I also successfully but petrol in my car this morning. Not a huge feat you might think but I've had my car almost 2 months now and there is definitely a knack to filling her up which I am only just learning. It's the little things in life that please me so!

Since Summer is most definitely in the air, I thought it was due time to do one of my most favourite things- make a listy blog post of all the things I want to do this summer! I think writing this list will be really useful for me to come back to and check, motivate me to try new things and also it makes me feel all fuzzy inside to think about the fun things I like to do. Hopefully I can share some of the things I do with you on here too. Let's get cracking!

Summer Listings

Buy lighting for the garden and have a few evenings enjoying it either alone or with friends.
Take Darcy's Summer pictures by the rose garden in Abington Park.
Try out as many village playgrounds as possible (with Darcy of course!!).
Spend more time with my new Mummy friends.
Eat dinners outside.
Go to Coton Mannor Gardens and enjoy the peace.
Take more pictures with my big girl camera.
Have a big night out with pretty dresses and cocktails.
Go to LA and make brave choices (more on this in a couple of weeks).
Tidy up my front garden.
Celebrate my Sisters Hollie and Tiyana more.
Watch and photograph as many sunsets as possible.
Feel sand between my toes.
Have a pedicure!
Read more of Darcy's books to her.
Binge on Pinterest ideas haha.

I'm sure there are more things I will want to do but for now, those are the main ones.

Tell me in the comments what you're excited for this summer!

Toodlepip!

xx

  5. This is a lovely post. The heat in the UK is lovely however very draining. Everything you want to do takes a little bit longer in the heat. I love list posts and I am definitely inspired to make a list of things I want to do this summer.

  7. It's currently hard for me to think about what I'm looking forward to this summer, as it's currently just too hot and I want it to end! :P But really, I'm looking forward to spending time with my family and doing fun stuff with them, as I'm home from uni for the summer and finally have the chance :) (And I'm also looking forward to attending your signing next week and finally getting to read your book!)

  16. I'm turning 21 this summer and I've made a list of things I want to achieve before my birthday. I donated blood for the first time yesterday and next week i'm collecting money for charity. This summer is all about helping others and making the most of my free time. I also want to spend the next two months writing scripts before I head back to college.

  17. One thing I'd really love to do this summer is go ziplining! I haven't done that since I was a young girl, so I think it would be fun to try as an adult... see if I have overcome my fear of heights (I cried the whole time when I was little, lol).

I'd like to write a few short stories (I wrote some GORGEOUS pages of one last year but lost it when my computer broke. UGHHHH), and paint almost everyday. I also want to read at least a book a week. I might write my goals on my blog to push me to actually accomplish anything!

  63. I love your list, Louise! This summer seems the most exciting to me, as I am going to the UK in August. Yas, doing the Polish thing, going there to work, haha, but I am kind of in love with England, so if things come out alright and if I like it there, I don't think I'm coming back to Poland to get my master's degree. Soo, hopefully (please, keep your fingers crossed <3) things are hella good and I'm staying in the UK and I am one step closer to saying 'thank you, Louise, for getting me out of depression'. So here's that! I also want to spend more time going to parties, barbecues, my friend told me this English summer is going to be an amazing one for me so I believe her. I wanna live. I'm almst 22, have always been too shy to go and party and do anything. So I wanna change that, big steps ahead of me, hope it's all good. Oh gosh, what a long comment it is. Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed for fulfilling your summer list, Louise. Love you! <3

  79. Lumera Eye Serum Avoid foundation and powders if you want to save your skin as you age. Since hydration is even more important to your skin as you getting older, this type of makeup gets even worse for your skin the older you get. Try using simpler cosmetics such as eye liner, mascara or lipstick.
