Statement Necklaces

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

The statement necklace is back! For a good couple of years now I have shied away from necklaces. Partly because the fashion seemed to be quite long nacklaces that ended around the tummy area and being pregnant/a new mum made me not want to highligh this part of my body, and partly because Baby Glitter had a big tendancy to pull on them and throttle me somewhat.

Now though, shorted necklaces are in and Darcy is able to understand 'no', so it's happy days for bling and not such happy days for my purse!

I picked up all three of these necklaces from Accessorize and adore them all. I have plenty of outfits that they work well with and have found they are often the piece to tie everything together and give you that 'finished' look.

I'm so excited to start buying shorter neck jewels and look forward to seeing what everyone else opts for too. What about you?

Also, just for fun, I've been looking back at jewellery I've bought and featured over the years. I'm so glad I documented all of this

Can you tell that I worked in an office right next to an Accessorize shop?! Far too many lunchbreaks spent in there that summer!!

Baby Style || Spy Mac and Studs

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

Last week Matt and I had a mooch round Milton Keynes to fill a few hours and I picked up a couple of bits of Baby Glitter that I simply couldn't not share.

I buy her so many nice things (naughty Mummy), that I have decided to try and do a few of these Baby Style posts over the next few months. The real challenge is getting her to stand still for a moment!!

Baby Style

Rustic Flower Clips :: Accessorize Angels
Purchased years ago

Beige Mackintosh :: Zara Baby
£22.99

Indigo Jeggings :: Primark
£4

Studded Tan Plimsoll :: Zara Baby
£17.99

What I love most about this outfit is the tiny bows on the sleeves of the coat. I have a jacket very similar and think the little bows give the item a more babylike feel to it, which is nice. I bought it a wee bit big because Baby Glitter grows like a sunflower and I'd like her to enjoy it for as long as possible. The lining inside is light blue quilting.

The jeggings are also great. I have bought the same pair (but smaller) in the past and Darcy finds them comfortable and easy to play in. Now that she is so active, I really want her to not be in the least bit restricted by her clothes. Tots need to be free!

If this is a feature you'd like to see on a more regular basis, I'll be sure to take close up photographs of the garments too so you can get a real feel for them.

Where is your favourite place to buy little people clothes? Do you half wish you could fit in an 18-24 months just so you could wear that coat? I think I do!

Hannah's Gorgeous Gift

Aloha Bloggerinos,

Do you remember I told you it was my birthday a couple of weeks ago? Well, one super nice YouTuberino/Bloggerino actually sent me really nice birthday present!!

Hannah ordered me these GORGEOUS earrings from a handmade online boutique called The Parlor. She told me the products were made by her sister's friend who lives in Manchester and when I had a look on the website I was giddy with glee at all the lovely things!

I was really thrilled with these earrings because they are so 'me'. I absolutely adore bird accessories and think the brass and the emerald compliment one and other perfectly.

THANK YOU HANNAH, YOU ARE TOO KIND!

I like to wear these with this necklace my sister Tiyana bought me from Accessorize. Told you I like birds!

If you'd like to have a look at The Parlor, click HERE.

I think luurrrvvee the Peppermint Tea Charm Bracelet, the black Elegant Earrings and the Galaxy Earrings.

Have you ever had a reeeaallly cool unexpected present? Tell me!

June Accesorize Pretties- Oh la la...

Aloha Bloggerinos,

As requested by the lovely Jo (with possibly the longest legs I have ever seen- and envy I might add), I am showing you my most recent Accessorize buys. It's not a lot but I felt like treating myself the other lunchtime...hmmm I need to stop "treating myself" all the time! haha

Lately I have been obsessed with peacocks, peacock colours, peacock feathers, peacock prints, p p p p PEACOCKS! I have always liked the colours but lately I have been going gaga for then, lordy knows why.

This is a long chained pendant in a darky goldy colour with peacock coloured jewels. I plan on wearing this with either black or tropical colours (note to self, buy some tropical colours). I think it will look nice all year round but mostly in the autumn. Do you likeylikey?

Next up is this gold and pink ribboned charm bracelet. I just couldn't resist it. It has a little pink lipstick on it for goodness sake, it called me!

Also, you see the 'L'amour' charm? I have earrings with those on from Mattmoo for my birthday- how matchymatchy I shall be.

Pretties I'm Loving

Aloha Bloggerinos,

As I mentioned before, my office is fairly restrictive on dress code, so I've started to take a lot more joy in accessorising. You may not be able to wear leggings or floaty dresses, but there's nothing about cocktail rings or charm necklaces! Wooop!

So here are a few things I have been wearing lately a lot:

I lurve this pearl necklace. I bought it 2 whole years ago from Accessorize for £11. I love pearls and these are cool because they are quite abstract shapes. I loved it so much I remember buying my friend YinYin (remember the YinYin that knitted me the pink cushion? Her.)

This is a more recent buy from Accessorize. It's a medium-long charm necklace and is uber summery. I love the golds, creams, pinks and corals and the funky charms. I believe it says "I'm a fresh and fun gal and I welcome the summer and all that it brings!". Yes that's right, my jewels speak to me, don't yours?!

A worryingly small selection of cocktail rings (and my engagement ring!). I am OBSESSED with cocktail rings. I think it's because I type a lot at work so I look at my hands all the live-long day and a bit of bling makes me happy. If you'd like to know where any are from, pop a comment down below and I will tell you.

Aside from the lilac and the engagement ring, they were all from highstreet shops. Bargain!

And yes Ceri, I know the lilac one is yours......and I'm never giving it back! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!!

What are your gem obsessions, or is it just me?

Accesorize Accessories

Aloha Bloggerinos,

Just a quick post to show you the 2 gorgeous necklaces my superduper Fiance bought me last week for my birthday. He also bought me some earrings and hair clippies that I am loving but I think I will include those in my May Favs post.

They are both what I would call 'short' necklaces. The first one is lovely because when we first started seeing each other five whole years ago (yowzas), I went home from uni for the summer to Northampton and he would send me lovely letters (ahahaha he'll kill me for telling you all that!). I was always beyond excited about this.

The second is also special because it has a ring (perfect considering my upcoming nuptials), a pearl (I'm pearl obsessed) and a lipstick (for my beauty blog and youtube channel-woop woop). So as you can see, this necklace was practically MADE FOR ME! hehehe

I luurrrvvveee Accesorize and Monsoon. I don't really have any expensive jewellery, apart from my engagement ring and what I was left by my Mum, because I'm quite flippant and like to chop and change. I could literally spend hundreds in there!!

Anyone else got any nice bits from there lately?
