Stationery Haul

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

This week on YouTube I appealed to my hoarder side and filmed a huuugge stationery haul.

If you like browsing the aisles of paper shops, you are going to LOVE this video.

What is your favourite type of stationery to buy? Do you feel a stronger draw to it in the Autumn too?

If you would like to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to receive notifications of when I make a new video (usually one a week), then click HERE. It's free and you have the option to turn email notifications off if you hate inbox interaction.

Toodlepip!

  6. When I was in elementary school (around 2nd - 4th grade) I used to collect pencils. I would go to the campus bookstore (private school, so it was fancy like that) and buy different graphic pencils. I would never sharpen them, just hold onto them for no reason. It didn't really matter what it was. Some had cool geometric designs, others were just a really nice color. I remember getting one with a football team's logo on it that I was really proud of. I think it was of the NY Jets, some team that I really didn't care about either then or now. I just remember thinking how cool and rare it was seeing a Jets pencil in Florida. I cherished that pencil and kept it hidden in my stash. One day though I took it out of my stash to try to organize everything better. Somehow it must have gotten misplaced because a few days later I saw that my dad had it lying on top a notebook, and it *gasp* sharpened. I was devastated. He basically told me that I had too many pencils just lying around (it as probably around 20 or so at that point) and that I should just use them. So later that week I went and sharpened them all in one go and there went my cherished collection.

  17. I LOVE stationery haha. I always end up spending money I can't afford to spend when I go to stationery stores so I avoid them unless I need to go. Here in Japan there's tons of crazy stationery like staplers that don't use any staples and erasable pens and highlighters. Just thinking about it's making me feel tingly hahaha

  27. I would just like to take a moment to say how absolutely amazing I think you are! I've watched your videos for probably over a year now and they always put me in such a good mood. You're an absolute inspiration to me as you're so positive & happy and it seems you're chums with most people! Being a teenager I always seem to dwell on the negatives in life but because of you & Zoey (along with a few other people) I've had a positive mind-set on many things. Thank you very much for being such a cheery, jolly wonderful human and making me constantly smile!x

  31. I really enjoyed your stationery haul. I am on the same boat with you that I collect a lot of notebooks and such because they are just to darn cute to leave in the store. I restrict myself, but sometimes I break that rule. Those notebooks don't go to waste though; I usually give them out as gifts to friends or to my girls in my Sunday school class. My day at a store is not complete until I browse the stationery section and the handbags of course. I recently went shopping and told my sister to literally pull me away because I didn't have enough money to buy everything that caught my eye. My newest interest are those antique (and new) shoe boxes that have these amazing floral prints and butterflies and other pretty things. They were so cute, but I have yet to buy one:( Watching your video made me feel like going back to the store and browse again. I couldn't, but the next time I can I will.

  32. I loved watching this video! Made me laugh because Im exactly the same! I don't need any more notebooks or pens but I still manage to go shopping and come back with half a dozen!

I love the calendar and notes app on my iphone but I will never give up my planner or notebook. There is nothing quite as satisfying as striking through an item on my list or on my planner.

I am pretty much a stationary whore all year round but in Autumn and Winter I definitely go alittle crazy... of course I need a new notepad especially for my christmas present lists for family and friends, and I definitely need a nice new pen to go with it :) If only it wasnt every week of the month that I did this haha

  50. When I was little, I loved the cute notebooks, erasers and pencils sold at Hello Kitty store and other Asian stores; but, I grew out of the "girly" phase shortly after and stopped paying attention to stationary designs. But this summer, I rediscovered those cute designs on Tumblr and am very tempted to buy them!

  54. Louise, you are such an inspiration to me. I started off watching your videos on youtube, and then started reading your blog. Since then I have started my own blog, and more importantly become a lot more comfortable in my own skin. I know you probably get this a lot, but you have honestly given me so much more confidence!

Also I am also a stationary freak. Notebooks, I have them. You want a glittery pen, I got that too. A scented rubber, even when I don't ever use pencils? Got it.

Once again thanks for being so amazing! xx
