A Little Rest


Aloha Sprinklerinos,

I am having a blogging break for couple of days. 

Louise-Sprinkleofglitter


Since the first of February I have uploaded on this blog every single day, sometimes even more. I always want this place to be somewhere that I adore and am excited to come to and be creative with. My blog is my happy place. 

I have decided to take a few days off from the routine to recharge, regroup and reinvigorate. I may even put an 'easy' post up tomorrow, I'm just having a bit of time away from the routine (ie. Monday's always being motivational etc). 

In the meantime, there are over 800 posts for you to enjoy so I would love it if you had a flick through some of those and didn't forget all about me haha!

If you have any suggestions for things you'd like to see on this blog, now is the perfect time to tell me, I'm looking to try new things!

I'm happy you've decided to recharge, I'd never want to see you burned out, and am very much looking forward to your return.     As for post ideas, I kind of would like to see you write a post about blogs you really like or have recently discovered (minus the sponsored ones or the bloggers you know in real life) because I'm nosy like that.     You look so lovely in this photo! I think it is good for you to take a break sometimes! We all need a bit of relaxing in our life. I really enjoy anything that you post on your blog, but I would enjoy maybe a few more beauty reviews. I feel like it has lately been a but life-style heavy, which I love, (I mean who doesn't love Darcy?) but I do enjoy the occasional beauty review.

    I don't blame you for wanting to take a little break, it's tough being a blogger, especially when you upload everyday, it makes it hard to keep things fresh and stay excited about writing when it becomes part of your routine. Just don't make the break too long! I recently took some time off from blogging because I was sitting my exams at uni and the break ended up being much longer than intended because life got in the way, but I'm back now with a vengeance and loving it so much! It's true absence does make the heart grow fonder!!

I personally love reading about the quality family day trips you take as much as I love reading the beauty posts!     Definitely take a breather if that's what you want to do! My advice to you is write about what you LOVE! Posting everyday is a lot, and your blog is YOUR blog, so ultimately you get to choose what you want to do with it. You deserve a little break- you work super duper hard!     It's okay to take a break! It's always needed and I really love your blog and it really should continue to be your little happy place.

    Something you might could try: What do you listen to? Music - but what :)
    I'm always looking for new music and I'm always curious to hear what other love to listen to and it would be great fun to hear what you listen to! x
    Other than that - I really love you lifestyle blog posts and the photos which comes with it. Might give some tips and ideas for finding the right ancle or inspiration to keep taking snaps :)

    I usually do not comment very often, but I really like your blog and of course you should take a break if you feel you need it.
    My blog has saved me sometimes. If I spent too much time with my family and my mother who is an alcoholic and very manipulative, I have had panic attacks, I've taken long breaks.
    But then I feel I need to come back to, as you say, my happy place. :)

    that photo is stunning!! could you do more reviews on product and do posts/videos on best and worst products on types of products (i.e best worst concealer mascara etc) and brands (ie mac nars maybelline loreal rimmel soap and glory etc) also maybe a top drugstore make up picks (like zoe did), also i loved your video on your worst dates, so maybe more funny things like that? there you go lots of ideas, i love you louise, you are so inspirational dunny beautiful and my idol, i always look forward to your posts and videos and i hope i can be as great as you at make up etc some day!
