Aloha Sprinklerinos,
Three weeks in and I'm still in love with my hair. Call me vain, I don't care, I can't help my feeling of hair joy. They are made all the stronger considering I was the child at primary school who's Mum put a bowl on her head and cut round it to make a nice 'style'. Back then I could only have dreamt of having swishy My-Little-Pony styled locks.

(Image. I must say, I've seen this image all over twitter and pinterest so I'm not sure where it originates from)
With my new found pink love, I have been spending a lot of time on Pinterest (nothing new there then) looking at amazing hair ideas. From crazy complicated plaits to the most incredible dye job above, I've swooned over it. Where shall I go once I'm bored of the pink? Purple??
Pastel love aside, two weeks ago in THIS blog post, Pantene offered to giveaway 5 of their 1 Minute Wonder Ampoules to 5 lucky readers of Sprinkle of Glitter. If you see your name below, you are one of those lucky duckies.
If you can see your name up there, please email me on louise@gleamdigital.com with the subject, 'I WON THE PANTENE GIVEAWAY' and we can arrange your prize to be posted.
I'm rather enjoying these little giveaway treats and hope to make it a regular feature. I have something very exciting lined up for next week!
What would be your dream hairstyle?

Think Ariel :) That is my dream hair. Wouldn't it be nice to flip that mermaid hair around all day.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your pink hair! If I were braver, I would love to dye my hair lilac, but for now I don't have the courage to dye my hair anything other than the usual brown tones.
ReplyDeleteWhen my little sister's hair began to grow back after she finished chemotherapy she dyed her hair so many colors, one of them being pretty much the same tone of pink that your hair currently is!

I love your hair Louise! I always have the intentions of going into the hairdressers and saying "do something different and crazy! It's in your hands!" ... But I never do. Maybe one day it'll happen.

My dream hair is Zoella's exactly how she curls it, but instead of brown and blond, blond with pink, blue and purple ombre streaks in the bottom.

My dream hairstyle would be long, thick, and wavy with just enough curl to be luscious without being hard to deal with :) I am loving that you love your hair! Isn't it a great feeling?
ReplyDeleteWhat´s wrong with loving your own hair? I think that´s a great thing!
ReplyDeletehttp://beblacknblue.blogspot.co.uk
I like my hair colour, now all I want is it to be longer and naturally wavey!

Awww I'm really looking forward to your post tomorrow Louise!
ReplyDeleteWith my hair I've always wanted to have it dark with neon coloured highlights. But I'm so worried! I love my natural hair colour, and I'm worried that if I dye it the colour will change :( I've had all red hair before - like metalic red, and I loved it. I've also had the bottom half done purple before! Sigh... I miss having coloured hair.
I think mint would suit you on the ends if you can find it :p

I'd love to have long wavy and healthy black locks! But I'd also love to get some highlights or color if I find one that suits me. :)
ReplyDelete-Anne's Scribbles and Doodles
I've been sporting a blue/teal dip dye in my black hair at the moment and I am loving it! Ever since figuring out how easy it is to keep up the colour I think I might be a bit more adventurous. Maybe a forest green next? Can't wait to see your hair! xx
ReplyDeleteThis hair is amazing! I wish I could do ths but my hair is so damaged it would all fall out haha!
ReplyDeletehttp://thelipstickthegirlandherwardrobe.blogspot.co.uk/
I would love to have hair like that, if you do get bored of the pink I think you should go for lilac! It would really suit you! x

I LOVE your hair, and would be obsessed with it too if it was my own! Unfortunately my hair is so dark I can't do much with it. I have had it ombre blonde before and I loved it. I definitely think light turquoise and lilac for your hair, they would look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte xxx Something Special To Say
I absolutely love the pastel colours in hair look but I am far too much of a scaredy cat to do anything like that with my hair! Lilac would be a gorgeous colour for your hair next, Louise. Can't wait to read the next post! Much love x

ReplyDeletei'm seriously considering kim kardashian's haircut and color buuuuut styled like lana del rey (if i could ever get it to be so glorious and voluminous) am i too boring? idk. anything but my plain brownnnnn i guess x.x
ReplyDeleteI really wish I could pop some pastel into my hair, but with dark brown it doesn't show up! (and I don't quite have the guts to dye it lighter JUST yet..!)
ReplyDeleteflawedfairytale fashion blog ^.^
I would never be able to paint my hair pastel but I like how it looks! And the image is so cute makes me wanna do it!
ReplyDeletehttp://milkshakebreak.blogspot.pt/
Hi Louise! I have been thinking about dip dying my hair a pastel pink and a turquoise/mermaid blue colour for a while. I've left secondary school now and i am starting sixth form in september where i'm allowed to colour my hair. The new sense of freedom and my hair finally being long enough to dip dye it. You kind of pushed me to actually do it after i saw your hair. So in the next couple of weeks when i get paid i'll be bleaching the tips of my hair and dying it! When i was young my mum amde me have my hair super short after it being the length to my bum! I was devastated so it's finally grown to a length i love and i'm so happy! Can't wait to be a my little pony hair doer like you!
ReplyDeletehttp://jessiecatxo.blogspot.co.uk/
Ahhh that is so cool! My hair is super dark so it's hard for colour to take to it..

I am obsessed with pinterest too! I really loved the picture of the purple pastel hair you posted not too long ago & I really want to take the leap and do something like that to my hair. I've seen some pretty cute pins of greeny bluey hair but I think I might start with dip dying before I do my whole hair!
ReplyDeleteLove this coloured hair it the moment!
ReplyDeleteIt would be such an honour if you would check out my blog Louise!!

I love your pink hair Louise! I used to be rathe rpink, too. However dyed my complete hair like that. Now I'm trying to go black to blonde again in order to give me hair a bit of a lavender/purple twist :) Cannot wait for it!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your hair! Would love to do it to my hair :) xxx

I've wanted long hair- like to the middle of my back long hair- for YEARS, I've been trying to grow it out and now it's about the middle of my shoulder blades. I love it, but I still want it longer. Also, I've had it ombred but I think I want to go back to a nice dark brown all over for winter, but I do love my ombre. Yeah, I have a personal dilemma over here....haha.

This is really making me want to do pink ombré in my hair again like I had last year! If I do it I'll definitely do a blog post on it :)

I've had my hair black since 16 and I'm now 21. I'd love to be able to put red in my hair but it always goes orange :( I'd love to be red all over or dip dyed red. My natural color is blonde!

I wish I could have pastel baby pink hair with some pastel yellow highlights. I love the color combination and I would love to sport it, but when you're applying to jobs and whatnot that kind of hairstyle wouldn't be optimal XD One of my biggest regrets is not trying this hairstyle out while I was in school and I had no responsibilities other than being a responsible student. When I get the opportunity to do my hair however I like and dress code doesn't matter, I would like to try this hair color!

I really love the pastel hair trend lately. However I couldn't pull it off myself but it's certainly very very cute XD and it suits you very much :O

I've always wanted multi tonal blonde with teal and lavender ends (very tumblr)but last time I tried to put purple in my hair it went very wrong think 80's looking blue stripes in dirty blonde hair so since then I've been too scared to try anything daring :(
ReplyDeletedaisyandmints.blogspot.co.uk/
I would absolutely love to have pastel coloured hair but I don't think my college would allow it :-( so I just have to stick to the old blondes, browns and reds!
ReplyDeleteI'm naturally a brunette but I love having a bit of blonde in my hair - I used to have ombre hair but I had it all chopped off because it went dead! It was so long aswell :-( but now I've settled with collar-bone length hair (if thats a thing) and blonde highlights which the sun has turned bleach blonde, brilliant! xx
