Aloha Sprinklerinos,
It's June!! In my eyes, this means it is officially Summer, despite wearing my winter boots today. Keerrraazzzy.
Big Essie Bottle* - Pansy
Mini Essie Bottle* - Sure Shot
China Glaze* - Wicked Style
Barry M - Pink Iridescent
No 7 - Gold Top Coat (What an adventurous name, eh?!)
I don't know about you, but summer makes me want to wear bright candy colours, brings out my inner girlieness (not that it's hard!) and my love for glitter rages on full steam ahead.
I noticed there was a bit of a theme to my recent nail polish choices and thought it was a good excuse to out more pink and glitter in the world (or at least just on my blog).
I have been absolutely LOVING Essie polishes of late. I get mine from BeautyBay and they have a MASSIVE selection of shades. I know Superdrug and Boots have recently started stocking them, which is super, but I've noticed that they don't supply many shimmery, metallic or glitter options, and this makes me sad.
China Glaze is a brand I have been a huge fan of for years and have quite a few of their shades. They are devilishly tricky to find in the UK and I have previously bought all mine at Beauty Conventions. Ebay seems to be a good bet though if you are looking to dabble in China Glaze and THIS seller has a vast array of hues to choose from. Hooray!
What sort of colours do you go for during sunny seasons? Are you loving pinks and glitter as much as me?
Toodlepip!
xx

ReplyDeleteAloha Louise.
ReplyDeleteI adore pink and sparkly, or just nail polish in general if I'm being totally honest.
I am however, an Essie and China Glaze virgin <- Am I allowed to say that here? Oh well, too late ;)
Anyway, I may try both these brands out over the summer. Hope you, Darcey and Matt are well.

ReplyDeleteThat Barry M one is gorgeous! I have it in silver, but the pink looks so much nicer :) xx
ReplyDeleteYou NEED to get Essie's A Cut Above. It's a chunky pink glitter. I live in the States and got mine from Target, but I'm sure you can find it online.
ReplyDeletePansy looks gorgeous for fingers and toes!
ReplyDeleteI am loving pastels this summer. My nails are minty green a lot of the time. I so nearly bought pink irridescent today because it looks so cute, but just didn't. Next time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful (and very appropriate) background for your photo, how summery and girly! I am 100% will you on the way my nail varnish colours tend to go in the summer months, I've recently realised I might have a bit of a problem where coral and pinks are concerned. I think I have about 10 colours in basically the same shade...I think that's going a step too far!
ReplyDeletex
The china glaze polish looks lovely :) I also love oranges/corals and bright blues and purples for summer! Shame the weather in the UK has been so miserable lately :( I'm in my winter jumper today :(
ReplyDeletewonderwall-93.blogspot.co.uk

Pink is a shade I never seem to get right but I do swear by glitter. I've been wearing Models Own Ibiza Mix over a nude nail polish and I can't stop looking at my sparkly nails. Good thing about glitter is it lasts soooooo long x
